Dinner - On the train from Girona to Madrid, Ali and I had kebabs that we had packed. Tasty, but a little messy

Breakfast - Cup of tea with an Argentinian guy at the hostel (Sant Jordi Hostel One)
Lunch - Got groceries from El Corte Ingles, and had a light lunch at the hostel based on that.
Dinner - Original plan was to find a place that served Cocido Madrileno. We found the place, but it turns out that the cocido is only served in the morning. Defeated, we went home and ate at Nemrüt Kebab on Gran Via. The best kebabs I've had since Germany, but the group was getting tired of kebabs.

Breakfast - Toast with jam. A quick breakfast before getting to our appointment at the French embassy.
Lunch - Aarón made molé and Li Wei made pancakes, both came out less than perfect, but still good to eat. Problem was it took over three hours to make and we had places to be.
Dinner - After wandering around the Palacio Real, Cervantes monument, and the Egyptian Templo de Debod, we stumbled into the ethnic food neighborhood (near Noviciado Metro stop). There, we ate at an Indonesian restaurant. I had Nasi Goreng, and we shared fried bananas. Good, but a little pricey. Restaurant was owned by Filipinos, not Indonesians.

Breakfast - Yogurt and cereal at the hostel.
Lunch - Cuatro Fuentes restaurant near the Prado. Seemed popular with the locals, which is always a good thing. I got Gazpacho, Lomo de Cerdo, and Flan from the Menu del Dia.
Dinner - Mexican restaurant called La Leyenda de Agave, near the Velasquez Metro stop. We were the only people there, so we got pretty good service. We shared Nopales Asado as an appetizer; I had pozole and horchata. Chef and owners from Mexico City, food was excellent.

Breakfast - Eggs and toast at the hostel
Lunch - Eatery in Toledo, a place called "Bar Boveda" or something like that. Decent food, especially after a day of wandering medieval streets and climbing churches.
Dinner - Original plan was to cook curry at the hostel but we were too tired after coming back from Toledo. Got dinner at Mundo Kebab instead. Good, but not as good as Nemrüt.
